Engaging instructional resources for teachers and students

The Arabic program for native speakers of Arabic (L1) is literature based and aligned with the ISS Arabic Standards. The program uses a range of resources rather than a specific textbook. The resources include a large collection of authentic children’s literature student resource books. Such resources will offer learners a rich linguistic experience that focuses on teaching them to read independently, comprehend, discuss, analyze, research and synthesize using Modern Standard Arabic (MSA).

Core Literature

  • The program is centered around core works of literature ranging from 7-30 titles for each level.

Student Learner Packs

  • The student learner packs guide support and extend the literature based units.

Teacher Guides

  • The teacher guides contain program guidance and support as well as additional instructional materials to support differentiation.
